A 256-page book, 10 movie posters, 2 custom typefaces, screen-printed shirts, and a restored Donkey Kong cabinet. Built to answer one question — what inspires a designer?
Inspired Me was my senior thesis at UMass Dartmouth — a deep, personal exploration of the people, films, music, games, and art that made me the designer I am. The project became a 256-page book spanning four chapters: Art & Design, Movies, Music, and Video Games.
The content was 98% self-generated. I designed two original typefaces, created 10 movie posters, and built the entire exhibition from scratch — including a custom podium, vinyl branding, screen-printed t-shirts, and a fully restored Donkey Kong arcade cabinet. It wasn't just a thesis. It was a statement about what drives creative work.
Four chapters — Art & Design, Movies, Music, Video Games. Two custom typefaces. A Shepard Fairey tribute canvas. 98% self-generated content built over the course of a year.

A series of movie posters created as part of the thesis — clean, typographic, illustration-driven.

A custom-built podium with vinyl branding, shelving for t-shirts and business cards, screen-printed "Stay Inspired" shirts, and a fully restored Donkey Kong arcade cabinet. The whole thing was a designed experience — not just a book on a table.

* The Donkey Kong arcade cabinet was created by Nintendo but fully restored by me as part of the exhibition.
